hi, i'm sara kong.

i grew up selling slime i'd post on instagram, designing clothes on roblox, and hijacking a free version of after effects to make velocity edits. for the longest time, the words scrappy just made sense to me. my first revelation with tech was in 7th grade, when our school had us read the giver and i was nevertheless obsessed with its odd and dystopian nature. my first rendition of startups came after cold applying for one at 16 while i created skincare videos.

somewhere along the way, i saw my work at the intersection of technology and creativity. but now that we're in the stage of artificial intelligence, i don't want to lose myself to a soul that's incumbently becoming artificially intelligent instead of authentically influent.

presently, i believe in engaging in tasteful craft that doesn't scale. the future doesn't lie in breaking your morales to satisfy a kpi, but being transcendental enough to build a sentiment that signals trust.

i don't aspire to be the bot or robust product we all are trying to build. i'm the human that for once in her life, is trying to learn and make sense of her visions in the middle of it all. whether that be shipping products, designing features, leading events, or telling stories. it's time for a new era.
